The Crown Princess visits the Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital
On Thursday 19 November, The Crown Princess visited the Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital in Solna.
The Crown Princess visited the Paediatric Diabetes Clinic and heard about the activities carried out there from Head of Department Eva Örtqvist and diabetes nurse Gunnel Viklund. The Crown Princess also met patients who talked about their experiences of living with diabetes.
The Crown Princess then visited Department Q83, where Sanna Murray-Salander, Managing Director of the Foundation for the Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital, gave a tour of the clinic, the reception area and the living and dining room.
Finally, The Crown Princess visited the Gait Analysis Section/Motor Function Laboratory, where Unit Manager Eva Weidenhielm Broström explained about the work of the lab and The Crown Princess met Rebecka, a patient at the Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital.
