The Swedish Royal Family belongs to the Bernadotte dynasty, who have held the Swedish throne for over 200 years.

Princess Christina

Christina Louise Helena was born in 1943, and was Prince Gustaf Adolf and Princess Sibylla's youngest daughter.

Christina completed her school exams at the French School in 1963. She then studied at Radcliffe College in Cambridge, USA, and on returning home studied history of art at Stockholm University. She worked at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs' information office for a year and a half.

Christina married director Tord Magnuson in 1974. The couple have three children: Gustaf (born 1975), Oscar (born 1977) and Victor (born 1980).
